I have had this car in three times for electrical issues related to the Hybred battery. This car had a recall for the battery and I took it in on [XXX] for the recall. The fix for this recall was not to fix the battery but rather to limit the amount the battery can be charged to 80-85%%. Prior to [XXX] the hybred battery would charge upto 27 miles or 11.4 to 11.6 kwh. After the recall fix, again which was just a software update to limit the charge, it is now at 20-21 miles or 9.8 to 10.0 kwh charge. This has reduced the miles of driving on battery only to a 15% plus decrease. I bought this car for the hybred performance and would not have bought for only 20 miles of battery life. I have contacted the dealership that performed the recall update and they confirmed the software update was to reduce charge capacity. The dealership stated that the recalls performed were 25SC4 and 23B64. I called Lincoln and spoke with their Client Relations Dept. (800-521-4140) and they stated they would share my concerns but there was nothing more they could do. The person I spoke with gave me case # [XXX] and phone number 888-214-2155 extension. 76341. I feel Lincoln deceived me and most likely many others, by not fixing the problem but rather limit how much the battery could be charged. The car is not fixed and they are no willing to try and fix it to the standards that I bought the vehicle for. Thank you. Recall 25SC4 software update would reduce the EV only range by as much as 20% below the Wikndow Sticker 27 miles. This action does not correct the problem which caused the recall. The root cause is a manufacturing flaw in the Samsung SDI battery cells where the thin separator layer between the cathode and anode was damaged. An internal short circuit can happen spontaneously due to this physical imperfection regardless of whether the battery is fully charged, partially charged, or actively discharging while driving. The recall does not correct the problem.

The contact owns a 2024 Lincoln Corsair. The contact stated that while driving approximately 45 MPH, the sunroof suddenly exploded without warning or impact. There were no injuries sustained. The contact notified the local dealer of the failure; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, but provided no assistance. The contact was referred to the insurance company for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 15,000.
The manufacturer's interim safety instructions for Recall 26V091 are failing. Lincoln instructs drivers to use Pure EV mode to prevent battery fires. However, the Corsair's software actively overrides Pure EV mode, automatically turning on the gas engine and completely defeating the safety mitigation. Furthermore, the authorized dealership (Evergreen Ford WA) refuses to take the vehicle. Consumers are stranded with unmitigated fire risks due to software overriding the manufacturer's own safety protocols. While no incident, yet, as I have opted to simply not charge the battery at all to stay safe, I do not believe, based on my dialogue, that this is a safe vehicle, and they are refusing to address the issue.
The contact owns a 2024 Lincoln Corsair. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V091000 (Electrical System); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the vehicle was experiencing an abnormally high voltage battery rapid discharge after an 80 percent charge. The dealer was contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was approximately 14,000.
We took delivery of the vehicle in March 2025. The vehicle has never been involved in any accident or collision during our possession. • In April 2026, we discovered that the passenger-side rear brake light was no longer functioning. • Upon inspection, dealership personnel informed me that a small crack—approximately one inch in length—in the plastic housing of the driver-side rear turn signal allegedly allowed moisture intrusion that ultimately caused the passenger-side brake light failure. • I was further advised that the repair would not be covered under warranty and was presented with an estimate totaling $1,377.54 (copy enclosed). • The dealership speculated that the crack may have resulted from a minor parking-lot incident. However, no evidence was provided to establish either the cause of the crack or when it occurred. My concern is not merely the cost of the repair, although the quoted amount appears disproportionate to the nature of the issue. More importantly, the explanation provided raises serious concerns regarding the integrity and durability of the rear lighting assembly itself.
Impact with deer on I-79 in WV at 70mph Air bags did not deploy. I was not injured but had it been a vehicle I would have been. Not inspected or confirmed by anyone. No messages or warning before collision.
For the last three months, after the car sits for 12 hours or more, I get a "battery saver mode" on my phone and many of the online features won't work. Dealer measured the battery power on first visit - read 93 percent. Went to dealer a month later, battery read 59 percent. Dealer advised me to "drive the car more"! It takes 45 minutes to get to the dealer from our house, shouldn't have to drive longer than that. Something is draining the battery!
The contact owns a 2024 Lincoln Corsair. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V091000 (Electrical System); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The dealer was contacted, and the contact was informed that parts were not yet available for the recall repair. The contact stated that the unrepaired recall was an inconvenience because a feature was being for on the vehicle that could not be used. The manufacturer was not contacted. The contact had not experienced a failure.

The contact owned a 2024 Lincoln Corsair. The contact stated that while driving 35-40 MPH, the contact noticed that another vehicle driving approximately 60 MPH crashed into the vehicle directly behind the contact's vehicle, and then crashed into the contact's vehicle. The contact's face hit the steering wheel. The contact stated that the seat belt restraint system only engaged after the contact's face had already hit the steering wheel. The seat belt then became significantly tight, causing the contact to experience difficulty breathing. The air bags did not deploy. The contact might have been knocked unconscious. The contact felt that her jaw had moved, and the contact's mouth was bleeding. The contact was assisted out of the seat belt and the vehicle, and the contact was taken to the hospital trauma unit by EMT. A CT scan was performed. The contact was informed that the right jaw was fractured and displaced from the nose to the end of the jaw. The contact was also informed that she had sustained a cardiac contusion as the heart muscle was damaged. The rear of the vehicle was significantly damaged. The contact could not recall whether there were warning lights illuminated after the crash. The vehicle was towed and totaled by the insurance company. A police report was filed; however, the contact stated that the police report inaccurately stated that the air bags in all three vehicles had deployed. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 8,000.
